A private bank’s Commercial Real Estate Group (CREW) commissioned and teamed with Commonwealth Architects to provide Interior Design, Architecture, and Engineering services for the remodeling of the WestMark 1 Office Building located in Henrico, Virginia. The remodeled building supports the consolidation of approximately 1,000 operational personnel from three different bank locations in the Richmond metropolitan area.
Commonwealth Architects worked with the CREW team to develop the design, which fully integrated the bank’s branding and graphics into the final design. Remodeling of the building required demolishing the previous existing interior tenant fit-up back to structure. The resulting design created a modern, innovative workplace with a variety of work settings for teams and individuals, supporting both full-time on-site staff as well as provide environments for the use of the bank’s mobile staff members.
