Commonwealth Architects was contracted by Laurel Street Residential to provide architectural and engineering services to design new apartment buildings on Dove Street, located in Richmond’s Highland Park neighborhood. The redevelopment includes the construction of 80 rental units in a mixed-income community. Eight of the units are located in a three-story mixed-use building that will house a leasing office and clubhouse but ultimately will be used for business/retail. The remaining units are stacked duplexes or traditional townhouses formed into five building types.
