Robert Burns, AIA, LEED AP
Principal Emeritus / ArchitectPut simply, Bob is the type of leader that can find a solution to any problem. With a “get it done” attitude, he is an expert at understanding how various, often incongruous, parts and pieces of a building fit together. He is practical minded while being design and production oriented, and his bright ideas have helped bring many jobs to successful completion. His wealth of knowledge in sustainable design practices has helped many projects achieve LEED certification, and his experience in working with historic investment tax credits makes him a valuable resource to the firm. His favorite project to date is the rehabilitation of the 9th Street Office Building because of its historical significance and details juxtaposed with a modern design aesthetic.
