The former Factory 64 buildings of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. was rehabilitated into a mixed-use development providing upscale, downtown living and urban retail space. Commonwealth Architects provided architectural and historic investment tax credit services to Plant 64 Development Company, LLC, for the rehabilitation of the sprawling industrial buildings into a mixed-use project. The 423,500 square-foot development incorporates the site’s unique history, honoring its architectural and manufacturing heritage.
