Central National Bank Project Featured in Greater Richmond Grid
Greater Richmond Grid magazine focused on Commonwealth Architects’ rehabilitation of the Central National Bank for Douglas Development in its January/February 2014 issue. The publication’s issue, “Move Forward: Growing Together in 2014,” highlighted the CNB rehabilitation as one of the projects that is moving the City of Richmond forward.
Grid was given a tour of the iconic Central National Bank building by project architect Patrick Thompson of Commonwealth Architects. The former bank’s 23-story tower and four-story annex are being converted into 200 apartments and retail space and is bringing new life to this long neglected architectural treasure.
