Central National Bank Project Featured in Greater Richmond Grid

deco at cnb exteriorGreater Richmond Grid magazine focused on Commonwealth Architects’ rehabilitation of the Central National Bank for Douglas Development in its January/February 2014 issue. The publication’s issue, “Move Forward: Growing Together in 2014,” highlighted the CNB rehabilitation as one of the projects that is moving the City of Richmond forward.

Grid was given a tour of the iconic Central National Bank building by project architect Patrick Thompson of Commonwealth Architects. The former bank’s 23-story tower and four-story annex are being converted into 200 apartments and retail space and is bringing new life to this long neglected architectural treasure.
