Commonwealth Architects is assisting in the rehabilitation of Virginia State University’s Lockett Hall, one of the campus’ historic academic buildings. A significant milestone in the forward momentum of the university, the modernization of Lockett Hall will return this three-story building to an active center of learning.

The 24,000 square foot building will be transformed to feature Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (S.T.E.M.) classrooms, teaching labs and offices. The new design will support interactive and collaborative learning and give access to advanced educational technology.
