College of William and Mary | Tucker Hall Feasibility Study

Williamsburg, VA
Services: Planning

Commonwealth Architects prepared a study to investigate the feasibility of renovating The College of William and Mary‘s Tucker Hall to better meet the needs of the occupants and the College. The building houses the Department of English, The Writing Center and the Charles Center (including Sharpe Program).

The feasibility study considered building-wide accessibility, replacement of the HVAC, electrical and life safety systems, including a fire suppression system, space utilization based upon allowable capital outlay criteria and improvements to the building envelope to resolve water infiltration and energy issues. The feasibility study considered future occupancy based upon projections of faculty positions and space availability.
