The Lock Lane Apartments, built in 1932, are perhaps the best example in central Virginia of an early 20th century garden apartment. Robinson Development commissioned Commonwealth Architects for the rehabilitation of existing buildings and additions or expansions where possible. Unique aspects of this project include a pool, replacement of a parking lot with a new central courtyard with pergola, eight new townhouse units, lush landscaping and high-end kitchens with granite.

This project was designed according to the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation.
